NSW Small Business Grants of up to $10,000

As predicted, the NSW Government has announced its financial support for businesses negatively impacted by this Greater Sydney lockdown of $5,000, $7,000 and $10,000.

The three different grant amounts will be available for small businesses depending on the decline in turnover experienced during the restrictions - $10,000 for a 70% decline, $7,000 for a 50% decline and $5,000 for a 30% decline.

Called the Small Business COVID-19 Support Grant, these grants will be available to businesses and sole traders with an annual turnover of more than $75,000 but below the NSW Government payroll tax threshold of $1,200,000 as at 1 July 2020.

The NSW Government portal for the the abovementioned grants will be via its Grants, Loans and Financial Assistance webpage. However, please note that at the time of writing this article, the applications platform for the Small Business COVID-19 Support Grant was not yet available.

The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW will update this webpage when the applications platform becomes available.
