What is International World Immunisation Week?
International World Immunisation Week is a global public health campaign to raise awareness and increase rates of immunisation against vaccine-preventable diseases around the world. It takes place each year during the last week of April.
When is International World Immunisation Week?
Commencs on Sunday, 24 to 30 April
Activities:
- Learning about hygiene practices and implements them on daily basis
- Allowing childen to share their experience in getting their 'Big School (4 year old) needle
- Discuss how the vaccine helps to prevent diseases around the world
- Providing parents/guardians further information in relation to World Immunisation Week from NSW Health.
- Revisit and review services Hygiene policies and provide to educators and families.
