Recruit like a Pro 2023

The ACA NSW Quickies are only 2 hours or less and held throughout the year in face-to-face, live webinar and video-on-demand formats. They are for Approved Providers, Owners, Directors and Nominated Supervisors with industry-specific information, advice, tips and even “tricks”.

The topics to be covered in the 2023 ACA NSW Quickies – Recruit Like A Pro are:

  1. How does an employer advertise a more attractive job advertisement while competing with other services paying above award wage and conditions?
  2. What are the key information in job applications and resumes that recruiters use to prioritise and filter candidates?
  3. Are overconfident candidates necessarily negative? And can employers still negotiate a mutually fair agreement amidst severe skills shortages?
  4. What are the body gestures employers look for during interviews?
  5. How to contextualise candidates’ referees who may have positive as well as negative bias?
  6. You are still not getting suitable applicants. What are the other techniques professional recruiters use to recruit good candidates?

In the face of growing competition and severe labour shortages, employers need to learn and leverage everything they can to recruit and retain employees who are the lifeblood of all early childhood education and care services.
